Forest and Bandit Go to the Ferret Show
Last Saturday, Forest pictured above on the left) and Bandit (pictured above on the right) went to a ferret show. The ferret show was sponsored by The Midwest Ferret Fellowship Faire. Forest and Bandit were there to meet and greet customers and to play games. Forest and Bandit both let anyone pet them and enjoy all the attention. They are like wind-up toys. They are calm and composed when being petted and handled, but they are ready to run if they are placed on the floor.
Forest and Bandit each played some of the games at the ferret show. Forest played the sock it to em game where Rachael (pictured above) had to put baby socks on Forest the ferret. Forest and Rachael did well and took second place in this contest. Forest also placed second in the car race by pushing a matchbox car to the finish line with his nose.
Bandit also played some games. Bandit won second on the kissing contest with Rachael. Bandit surprised us in the strongest ferret contest. He was one of the smaller ferrets entered in the contest. The ferret in this game pulls as many full pop cans on a wagon as it can across a slippery floor. Bandit pulled 14 full cans and won third place. The ferrets didn’t win ribbons
In every game, but they had a great time playing and interacting with other people and other ferrets.
